Dear Arun,
Just managed to access the internet, while up in the ghats where connectivity is almost nil. Today we are on our way from Gabgal to Sakleshpur, where my property is and I carried the laptop with the net card so have been able to access my mail while passing through Mudigere.
The Lord be praised, I am SO happy to know that the operation is a success and you're back in your room already. Please take care and don't be in a hurry to go home without ensuring proper after care and complete recovery.
Just wanted to shoot of these three lines before losing connectivity. I will try and pen you more later with the details of the agenda from where I left in my last.
My wishes to Chand and the boys. Take care.
Maxie

Dear Maxi & all my Dear Friends,Enjoyed seeing the pics. I went to the theatre on Monday,21st as scheduled at 8am and was out at 12 noon. Chand and my 2 boys and my nephew Rahul(jayvanth Suvarna's son,ex aloysian) were with me. The operation was a success. The surgeon was mr o'keefe and he was very satisfied with the results. Normally they keep you in the icu for 36 hrs whereas I have been lucky to be back in the ward in my own bed in less than 24 hrs. I had a good nap this afternoon and seen all the photographs and I'm eagerly awaiting reports of the second part of the proceedings.Did you raise 50000 rupees, was it a grand gesture from Norman. Please try to collect photographs from all our friends and email it to me. When are you planning to return to your bases? Did Bopiah make it in the end? Glad to know that Trilochan made it. I'm hoping to be discharged by Friday or Saturday.Keep in touch, love to all.Arun
