Hope u had a good flight stateside. i lived in east texas from 2004 to 08. small town called huntsville, 70m north of houston on I-45, en route dallas. in the pine woods of the national reserve. only two things there: sam houston state university, and the tx prison system.
I worked fr the state govt at their prison hq. very tiring, the winters did not agree with phil, then our daughter from az moved to warsaw. we lost interest, packed our bags, flew back home. life is a whole lot more comfy here. but we hv to deal with congestion, filth, pollution, rampant corruption. this city is turning uglier by the day.
Reminiscing, i recall ur family lived just across the gate of our middle school. my bro joe & i were boarders from '53, he moved to bangalore his last 2 yrs. u & manohar became boarders maybe the last couple of years?
I've a boarding house photo somewhere (i'll fish it out, scan and send u,) which has u & manohar in smart shirts. It has brian albuquerque too. must look fr it, this reunion gig has got me pretty nostalgic.
btw, my dad was from bajpe too. his step brother was sacristan of the parish church. he was called piad baab, i think. i did my 1st communion there. small world.
