Warm wishes from distant shores than my usual, for a super 2010 to all my classmates - passing-out batch of 1960 from St Aloysius College High School Mangalore....
Wishing you the very best in 2010, even though we are yet to usher it in. For it's still the 31st morning as I am selectively trying tocatch up on my New Year mail. While looking out of my window I see the glorious sights of snow steadily settling on the branches and covering all the green and the brown of the trees even as it has covered already the ground for miles around.
Woke up to fresh snow today to compensate all my howls over the sleet and and rain on the 27th that washed away the white to bare the grounds and treees naked from the feet deep snow that had given us a beautiful white Christmas. It's been snowing heavily for the past three hours. Only negative aspect of this at the moment is the hovering uncertainty this development is casting on the prospect all those invited - frommaking it to my daughter Indira's party this evening to bring in the new year at her home in Trumbull, Connecticut. She's expecting a rather large gang of crazy friends, and all the family - especially those who could not make it to Kolkata for the wedding. The TV is already reporting shutting down of couple of highways, clogged tunnels and major access bridges.
Hope the festive season will continue to shower on you abundant blessings in 2010 and the years to come too.
Wishing all of you once again a super 2010....
Maxwell
