Subject: CLASS RE-UNION: Amended Confirmation

Dear friends,
I hope you all are keeping well.
I have been in touch with two of the three musketeers,Harry the convener and Stany and having spoken to Ozzie, Terence, Adolf, Hector, Peter, Bopayya and Norman J ( I tried to get hold of Raphael - wrong number: Prabhaker - wrong number: Trilochan - no reply) it has been decided to hold the re-unon on the 19th and 20th.June.2010.
The change of date will enable all the friends in the US, Canada and Japan to make it for the big get together This postponement also will give time Rex and Lennie to get over their recent bereavement.
We have decided the event to take place at the Mangalore Club -Jeppu ( Harry treated Subodh, Denver and me for a meal there November 2007 - the food was good and is a nice venue).

the proposed Itinerary - subject to changes - your suggestions are welcome.
SATURDAY THE 19TH. JUNE 2010
11: 00 am Meet at SAC for group photographs - one with the wives and one without.(pavoos permitting)
12: 00 pm Head for the venue by coach - singing all the way starting with our school anthems - "comrades raise a joyful chorus and Bhuvana salahuwa karuna nidhi".
1:00 pm LUNCH
TOAST TO OUR DEPARTED FRIENDS AND OBSERVE A MINUTE'S SILENCE.

Each classmate by turn gives a brief resume of what he has done since leaving school.
Anthakshiri ( divided into two teams - after the 1st team has sung the last syllable the 2nd team picks it up with
another song (English, Hindi, Konkani, Tulu, Coorgi, Kannada and Malayalam).
4:30pm Tea
6:30pm DINNER
Toast to our good ladies.
Bingo.
Quiz ( 2 teams - questions relating to our school days, Mangalore etc)
SUNDAY THE 20TH. JUNE 2010.
12:00 noon ASSEMBLE AT THE VENUE.
LUNCH.
Karaoke ( songs from our good old days)

4:30 pm TEA
Whist Drive.
7:00 pm DINNER
Each one to relate the most embarrassing moment of their life or a joke (including the wives).
Lucky dip.
More singing and dancing.
Vote of thanks.
Auld Lang Syme.
Harry being a member of the club will book the hall etc. (thank you Harry) he will also a book of couple of rooms so that the ladies can use to powder their noses and dress etc. Chand and I would like to stay at the venue and this room will be also at the disposal of the ladies.( thank you, again Harry).
The three musketeers and me, the fourth mosquito will need all the advice, help from now till the end of the do.
Postponing the get together will give enough time to trace the 10 classmates we cannot trace (Vasanth Kamath was not on the list(had mazar eyes and came from Kulshekar and was with Sudhir Rao most of the time)

I can / cannot make it for the grand re-union with/without my wife.
we are hoping to publish a little booklet with all the contact details,photographs etc. which will be handed on the day, and sent to the others who cannot attend.
