The only one who joined St Aloysius Middle School with me in the 1st class and remained with me for 12 continuous years without break till PUC. We also were together in the school "Summer Club" during the summer vacations.
When we were still very small, I would picture him in King Canute's chair - for nowhere else before or after, have I known another Canute!
Canute had a stint with the Syndicate Bank in Delhi during the early 70s when I used to meet him often at his sister Olga's. Lost track of him since.
It is sad he is no more. The Lord grant him eternal rest.
